Housing

Housing & Meals:

Campers will be housed at the Tropicana Gardens Dormitory, which offers spacious and comfortable accommodations. The dormitory grounds provide a safe and supervised environment that includes a recreation room, swimming pool, laundry room and cafeteria. Health conscious and hearty meals are planned by our chefs. There will also be a security guard patrolling the dormitory area from 10:00pm - 8:00am.

What to Bring:

Each camper must bring the following to camp: Towels, washcloths, soap, personal hygiene items, twin size bed sheets, blankets, pillows, basketball footwear, sweat socks, gym shorts, T-shirts, windbreaker, sweat suit, alarm clock and detergent for washing are necessary. It is recommended that each camper's apparel is marked with the person's name. Do not bring watches, iPOD's, TVs, radios, video games etc. The flight school will not be responsible for the theft of any of the aforementioned items. Cars are not allowed on campus.

Resident Roommate Requests:

We will make every effort to accommodate your roommate requests; however, there will be absolutely no special room requests granted on registration day! We will not allow boys and girls (even if brother and sister) to room together during the co-ed session, so please do not request that when filling in your roommate request on the application. All roommate requests must be made at least 3 weeks prior to the start of your camp session.

Money:

A bank will be provided for the safe keeping of your money. In return you will receive MJFS Bank Cards, which are good at all camp stores. Campers will have the opportunity to check their money out of the bank several times each day.

Camp Store:

Items to be sold include: Special T-shirts, Shorts and Sweatshirts, along with Candy, Pizza, Drinks, Hot Dogs at our food store.
